This is the second time his-culture is celebrating Kuwait’s national day. It’s one of my favorite day of the year; I enjoy seeing how people put their differences aside and just celebrate this day with unity and pride. Anyways, I’m going to keep this post short and concise; I’ll let the pictures speak for itself. This is how we pridefully portray our love towards Kuwait.
I have never been a studious person when it comes to historical studies. I find it quite bland when I listen to someone talk about history. However, I’ve never shied away from the fact that I love history if it’s in plain sight. I love seeing historical events encapsulated in a room. It’s more fun that way.
If you’re like me and you want to visually discover the history of Kuwait, then Bait Al-Othman is the right place for you. This museum is a historical gem located in Hawally. It’s a place where people of all ages can enjoy and get educated at the same time. Currently, it includes the Kuwaiti House Museum, the Maritime Museum, the Heritage Hall, the Drama Museum, the Journey of Life Museum, and Museum of Historical Machinery. Moreover, they have recently opened a café called “Café Bazza” where they serve a lot of traditional Kuwaiti meals.
So, if you want to get away from you mundane routine and do something different then I suggest to pay Bait Al-Othman a visit.
